McKonomics blog post  Check out this post for highlights of the tax law just signed by the President.  I'm sure you are all aware of this event, but there are a lot of "other" things in the bill a lot people are not aware of.  I will be adding more information on this in the next few days once I narrow done what I feel what will affect most people.

The single most frustrating thing is this is simply a very small bandaid that will fall off very soon because no thought was put into at all.  The Congress has had year to do this right and simply refused to - and will again two years from now - there is no doubt in my mind.  We have take care of our debt AND educate our children.  We can do this - if we get rid of the sound bites and pay offs to wealthy - and fix some of the loopholes at the lower end (i.e. Earned Income Credit) - it's the middle class left holding the largest burden.
