Two items of good news recently in the tax world.  Congress actually listened to their Constiuents (primarily Small Businesses) and repealed the onorous requirements for filing annual 1099's for virtually every Vendor you do business with (over $600 per annum).  This is huge and shows the power of using Multi-Media to get the word out.

The second item is that (due to gas prices) the business Mileage rate will go to 55 cents per mile (from 50) as of July 1, 2011.
