It's a huge Christmas for the wealthy thanks to Obama's negotiations. Not only are there no tax increases BUT he agreed to increase the Estate Tax exemption to $5million per person (that's $10 million per couple). That is unbelievable - no one could have dreamed of that happening, but because so few people understand the implications of that, they will probably get it through. I cannot find the price tag that the rest of us are going to have to pay for this - but I assume it will along the lines of 20% of our kids will no longer be able to receive a decent education.
