The election is over and most of us feel it was really clear. People are not happy. People want our Government to cost less. Most of them, however, have no idea of what the actual budget is for any of the Municipalities from the bottom to the top. They also don't know the impact on the economy of any one particular budget cut. So - I'm going to give you the bottom line. All Government budget cutting needs to start at the top - not the bottom. All we heard in the election is that we need more taxes to pay for Education and Health Care. Well, we need to pay more for both of those - but A LOT LESS for all of our representives own office budgets (you would be stunned to know what those are), and cut a huge amount of unneeded administrative costs (we need another $500,000 study for what????).
